Biography:

Since 2010, NVO has been rocking the scene with a steady assault
of guitar, bass, drums, synthesizers and whatever else they nd to channel the funk. The group takes an organic path to groove creation, always dissecting and reconstructing their sounds with the freshest tech. The resulting fusion of bass-heavy rock, sci- funk and rave-hop epitomizes the NVO sound as they blast you into space.

The quartet has taken their unique live-electronic style and sound one step further with their latest release, “The Signal,” wrapping their wildly digital synth beats around analog guitar, trumpet, drums, and vocals. Out 3/2/17 on Mallabel Music, The Signal features collaborations with Lateef the Truthspeaker and Eko Zu.
 

NVO’s previous release, 2015’s “Night Vision Odyssey” rapidly rose up the Beatport charts, ranking in the Top 10 for Electro House and Chillout, and Top 25 for House and Electronica. They have provided support for acts like MSTRKRFT, Gold sh, Break Science, Particle, The New Deal, Lotus, Conspirator, and Bernie Worrell (of P Funk and Talking Heads.) Their music has been featured in the Hulu show, “Resident Advisors” and at the SF Giant’s stadium.
